Dutch and Flemish Masterworks Exhibiting at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston

Dutch and Flemish Masterworks from the Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo Collection will conclude a national tour at he Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

This is one of the world’s most spectacular private collections of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish paintings—including masterworks by Rembrandt, Gerrit Dou, Frans Hals, Willem (Claesz.) Heda, Jacob van Ruisdael, and Jan Steen.  The collection presents more than 60 paintings that are exceptional for their quality, condition, and historical interest and will be on view through February 12, 2012.

All of you in the HOUSTON area should mark the date.  This is one of those exhibits you MUST SEE.
